Early Positive Dental Experiences

Our Toronto dentists are committed to helping children feel at ease during their dental appointments so they can maintain good oral health today and into adulthood.

We offer a complete range of dental services for kids and their developing smiles. We also aim to provide your child with the most positive dental experience possible.

We strive to keep the environment calm, friendly, and inviting for kids. We will work at your child's pace, take breaks as needed, and explain each step of the process.

Your Child's First Visit

Infants should be seen by a dentist after the first six months of age or at a minimum, by the child's first birthday. By this time, the baby's first teeth, or primary teeth, are beginning to erupt and concerns must be detected before they become big issues.

Dental Services for Kids

At Thorncliffe Dental Centre, our services can be fitted to meet your child's oral health needs to keep their smile healthy.

Preventive Dental Hygiene

Visiting the dentist for regular exams and cleanings when your child is young will help preserve the primary teeth until they are ready to fall out and be replaced by permanent teeth. During each appointment, we will review proper oral hygiene techniques to ensure your child's smile is getting proper at-home care.

Restorative Dental Services

If your child is at risk of decay, develops a cavity, or is experiencing misalignment issues, your dentist may recommend restorative treatments such as dental fillings and mouth guards.
